The ratio of the heights of two triangles is 4 ∶ 3 and ratio of their areas is 6 ∶ 7. What is the ratio of their bases?

h2 = 4 h1 = 3

A2= 6 A1= 7

area of triangle - 1/2 * base * height

A2 = 1/2 * B2 * 4 = 6

B2 = 6/2 = 3

A1 = 1/2 * B1 * 3 = 7

B1 = 14/3

ratio of bases of triangles would be -

B2/B1 = 3/14/3 = 9/14

so, ratio will be 9 : 14
