Answer:

let the salaries of A and B last year be Rs. 3x and Rs. 4x respectively.

Then,

A's present salary=Rs.(54×3x)=Rs.(15x4)B's present salary=Rs.(32×4x)=Rs.6x.∴15x4+6x=4160⇒39x=4160×4⇒x=4160×439So,A's present salary=Rs.(154×4160×439)=Rs.1600
