Then,

 \frac{15}{4}  =  \frac{x}{2800}

4x = 2800 \times 15

x =   \frac{2800 \times 15}{4}

x = 700 \times 15

x = 10500

So the income is Rs.10,500.

Expenditure = income - savings

Expenditure = 10,500 - 2800

Expenditure = Rs.7,700
