Step-by-step explanation:

Let incomes be 5x, 4x

Let savings be 3y , 2y

Savings of Ashok = 5x - 3y = 26,000.... (i)

[savings = income-expense]

savings of Vinod = 4x - 2y = 26,000.... (ii)

Multiply eq.(i) by '2' && eq.(ii) by '3'

(i)=== 10x - 6y = 52,000 ....(iii)

(ii)==  12x - 6y = 78,000 ....(iv)

Subtract eq.(iv) - eq.(iii)

2x = 26000

x = 26000/2 = 13000

Income of :

Ashok = 5x = 5*13000 = Rs.65,000

Vinod = 4x = 4*13000 = Rs.52,000
