Solution:

Area of trapezium

= ½ (Sum of lengths of parallel sides) (Height)

=> 60 = ½ (3x) 4

=> x = 10

Therefore, lengths of parallel sides are 20 cm and 10 cm respectively.

Answer:

let the parallel sides be x and 2x. Then,

area of trapezium = 1/2 × ( sum of parallel sides) × height

60 = 1/2 × ( 2x + x ) × 4

60 = 1/2 × 3x × 4

10 = x

Therefore, the parallel sides are 10 cm and 2x cm = 2×10 cm = 20 cm

Hope this answer will help you.
