The ratio of the length and breadth of a rectangular courtyard is 11:5. If the breadth of the courtyard is 12.5 m, what is the perimeter of the courtyard?​

Hey friend here is your question's solution :-

Let the length and breadth be 11x and 5x respectively.

Breadth = 5x = 12.5 m

then, x = 12.5/5

x = 2.5 m

then, length = 11x = 11 × 2.5 = 27.5 m

The perimeter of rectangular courtyard

=> 2 ( length + breadth )

=> 2 ( 27.5 + 12.5 )

=> 2 × 40

=> 80 m
