Given: Ratio of the length and breadth is 18:7 and area of the rectangle is 126cm^2.

To find: Perimeter of the rectangle

Answer:

Formula to find the area of a rectangle = Length*Breadth.

Let us take the length to be 18x and breadth to be 7x.

Area of the rectangle is 18x*7x.

Since area is given, 126cm^2,

126 = 18x*7x

126 = 126x

x = 126/126

x = 1

Length is 18*1 = 18cm and Breadth is 7*1 = 7cm.

Now to find the perimeter.

Formula to find the perimeter of a rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth).

Since we know the length and the breadth,

Perimeter = 2(18 + 7)

= 2*25

= 50cm

Hope it helps :)

heya buddy ur ans

let length and Breadth be as 18x and 7x

area = 126 sq.cm

now

as we know

area = l*B
126= 18x*7x

126=126x^2

126/126=x^2

1= x ^2

1=x

now equate it

18x=18*1

= 18

Length=18cm

Breadth =
7x
7*1=7cm

perimeter

2(l+B)
=2(18+7)
=2(25)
=50cm
