According to the question,

4x - 40 = 3x

4x - 3x - 40 = 0

4x - 3x = 40

x = 40

      Breadth of the plot = 3 × 40 = 90 m

Perimeter of plot = 2 × ( length + breadth ) = 2 × ( 160 + 120 )

                            = 2 × 280 = 560 m
