The ratio of length and width

=5:2

And width =40m

Given

So 2 ratio=40m

1 ratio =40/2=20m

Then Length =20x5= 100m

Answer:

100 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Width of the school ground =40m

Ratio of length to width of ground =5:2.

Let,

Length of the school ground =5x

Width of the school ground =2x

40=2x

x=20

∴ Length of the school ground =5x

=5(20)

=100m
