\underline{\boldsymbol{According\: to \:the\: Question :}}

⠀⠀

The width of the school ground is 40 m.

⠀⠀

Therefore,⠀

:\implies\sf 2x = 40 \\\\\\:\implies\sf x = \cancel\dfrac{40}{2} \\\\\\:\implies{\underline{\boxed{\sf{x = 20}}}}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⠀⠀

Now,

★ Length of the school ground is,

⠀⠀

:\implies\sf Length = 5x \\\\\\:\implies\sf 5 \times 20 \\\\\\:\implies{\underline{\boxed{\sf{Length = 100\;m}}}}

⠀⠀

\therefore{\underline{\sf{Hence,\: length\; of\;the\: school\; ground\;is\; \bf{100\;m }.}}}
