ANSWER:--------

given :-

ratio between the Length of the parallel sides of the trapezium 4 : 1

let the parallel sides be 4x and x Respectively.

height of the trapezium is given 10cm.

→ 1/2 × h (b1 + b2) = 500cm²

→ 1/2 × 10 (4x + x) = 500cm²

→ 5 (4x + x) = 500cm²

→ 20x + 5x = 500cm²

→ 25x = 500cm²

→ x = 500/25

→ x = 20cm

hence, the Length of the parallel sides are :-

1. 4x = 4 × 20 = 80cm

2. x = 20cm
