Answer:

Let the angle be x

It's supplementary angle=180–x

It's complementary angle=90-x

ATA

(180-x) /(90- x) =8/3

3(180-x=8(90- x)

540–3x=720–8x

8x-3x=720–540

5x=180

X=180/5=36°

It's supplementary=180–36=144

Angle :supplementary angle=36:144=1:4

Let the angle be x

it's supplementry angle=180°-x

and complimentry angle = 90°-x

now find out the value of x

(180°-x)/(90°-x)=8/3

now do cross multiplication

3(180°-x)=8(90°-x)

540°-3x=720°-8x

now write constants one side and variables one side

note:when and term will change it's side it's sign of operation will also change

so, 540°-720°=-8x+3x

-180°=-5x

x= 180°/5 = 36°

therefore, supplementry angle=180°-36°=144

=36:144=1:4
