Answer:

Let original angles be 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x

Sum of interior angles in a quadrilateral = 360°

1x + 2x + 3x + 4x = 360°

10x = 360°

x = 360/10 = 36°

Putting the value of x the original value ;

1x = 36° ;  2x = 72° ;  3x = 108° ;  4x = 144°

Now 1x + 4x = 144 + 36 = 180°

If 2 lines are intersected be a transverse such that the sum of interior angles on the same side of the transversal are supplementary then the 2 lines are parallel .

In a quadrilateral only one pair of opposite sides is parallel, hence it is a trapezium.
