The measure of the largest angle.
Let the angles are 2x°, 3x° and 4x°.
We know that :
Sum of all angles of a triangle is 180°.
According to condition,
2x + 3x + 4x = 180
➳ 9x = 180
Divide both sides by 9.
➳ 9x ÷ 9 = 180 ÷ 9
➳ x = 20
x = 20
- 2x° = (2 × 20)° = 40°
- 3x° = (3 × 20)° = 60°
- 4x° = (4 × 20)° = 80°
The measure of the largest angle is 80°.
