the ratio of the measures of two complementary angles is 7:8 what is the measure of the smaller angle

Complementary = 90

First angle = 7x

Second Angle = 8x

7x + 8x = 90

15x = 90

x = 90/15

=6

7x is smaller angle

7x = 7*6=42

The smaller angle is 42°
