The ratio of the number of boys and girls in a class को of 400 students is 1 : 24. How many girl students हो need to be removed from the class, so that percentage of boys in the class becomes 40%?​

Answer:

1x +24x = 400

x = 16

So boys are 16

and girls are 384

We need boys 40%

So 40% of total students = 16 boys

total students = 16 × 100/40

= 40

No. of girls should 24 (40 - 16 )

So for having 24 girls we have to to exclude

360 girls (384 - 24)
