The new ratio is 26:33.

Given - Old ratio and percentage increase

Find - New ratio

Solution - Let the number of boys and girls be 6x and 9x.

So, new number of boys = 6x + 30%*6x

New number of boys = 6x + 1.8x

New number of boys = 7.8x

New number of girls = 9x + 10%*9x

New number of girls = 9x + 0.9x

New number of girls = 9.9x

New ratio = 7.8x:9.9x

New ratio = 78:99

Performing division by 3

New ratio = 26:33

Hence, the new ratio is 26:33.
