therefore no. of boys =

and no. of girls =
504-273=231

now its said 12 more girls r admitted
so,
current no.of girls = 231+12=243
New ratio will be
$\frac{no \: of \: boys}{no \: of \: girls}$
=
$\frac{273}{243}$
or simply 273:243
