The ratio of the number of female employees to the number of male employees in an office is 4:7. In another office this ratio 7 : 11 what office is a higher number of female employees? ​

let the no.of employees in first office = 4x and 7x

let the no.of employees in second office = 7y and 11y

Given,

no. of employees in first office = second office

11x = 18y

Therefore, x= 18/11y

So , no.of female employees in 1st office = 4y = 4 × 18/11y

& no.of female employees in 2nd office = 7y

Now, 7y > 72/11 y

Hence, No. of employees in second office is larger than the first office..
