Answer:

Let, the number of girls in school = x

Number of boys in school = 225

According to question 2 : 5 = x : 225

=> 5 x x = 2 x 225

x = (2 × 225)/5 = 2 x 45 = 90

Number of girls in school = 90

Total number of student in the school = (number of boys + number of girls) = (225 + 90) = 315

Answer:

LET  the number of girls be 2X

Let number of boys in a village school  5 x

yet ,  the number of students in the school is 315

so 2x+5x = 315

  7x         = 315

 x             =  315/7

       x      =  45

hence the number of girls in school = 2x = 2*45 =   90  girls

the difference in number of boys =  5x = 5* 45 =    225 boys

difference in number of boys and girls in the school = 225 - 90 = 135
