Answer

Female workers = 69

Explanation

Given that, the ratio of the number of male and female workers in a textile mill is 5:3.

Also given that, there are 115 male workers.

What we have to do is, find the number of female workers who work in the mill.

Let us assume that there are total x female workers in the mill.

As per given condition,

(Ratio of male workers)/(Ratio of females workers) = (Male worker)/(Female worker)

Substitute the values

→ 5/3 = 115/x

Cross-multiply them

→ 5x = 3(115)

→ x = 3(23)

→ x = 69

Therefore,

Number of female worker who work in the mill is 69.
