Let the common be x.

Therefore no. of male employees= 5x

No. of female employees= 2x

Total no. of employees= 5x+2x =7x

no. \: of \: male \: post \: graduates = \frac{60}{100} \times 5x \\ no. \: of \: female \: post \: graduates = \frac{25}{100} \times 2x \\ therefore \: total \: no. \: of \: post \: graduates = ( \frac{60}{100} \times 5x) + ( \frac{25}{100} \times 2x) \\ = \frac{300x}{100} + \frac{50x}{100} \\ = \frac{350x}{100} \\ = \frac{7x}{2} \\ percentage \: of \: post \: graduate \: employees = \frac{no. \: of \: post \: graduate \: employees}{total \: no. \: of \: employees} \times 100 \\ = \frac{ \frac{7x}{2} }{7x} \times 100 \\ = \frac{7x}{2} \times \frac{1}{7x} \times 100 \\ = 50\%
