Answer :-

Let vampires are 300x ane werewolves are 200x .

so,

→ Vampires have special powers = 10% of 300x = (10 * 300x)/100 = 30x .

then,

→ Vampires dont have special powers = 300x - 30x = 270x .

similarly,

→ werewolves have special powers = 25% of 200x = (10 * 300x)/100 = 50x .

then,

→ werewolves dont have special powers = 200x - 50x = 150x .

therefore,

→ Total creatures who dont have special powers = 270x + 150 = 420x .

hence,

→ Required % = (420x * 100) / 500x = 84% (Ans.)

Given :  The ratio of the number of vampires and werewolves in Mystic falls is 3:2

Out of these 10% of Vampires and 25% of werewolves are having special magic powers.

To Find : What is the % of supernatural creatures who are not having special magic powers?

Solution:

The ratio of the number of vampires and werewolves in Mystic falls is 3:2

Let say   30m vampires and   20 m  Mystic falls

Total = 30m + 20m = 50m

10% of Vampires and 25% of  wolves are having special magic powers.

10% of Vampires   = (10/100)30m  = 3m

25% of  wolves = (25/100) 20m  = 5m

Special powers = 3m + 5m =  8m

not having special magic power = 50m - 8m  = 42m

% of supernatural creatures who are not having special magic powers

 = (42m / 50m ) * 100

= 84 %
