Let marbles with p be 'x'
and marbles with q be 'y'

By Qn,
$\frac{x}{y} = \frac{5}{4}$
ie
$4x - 5y = 0 - - - - - - (1)$

Again By Qn,

$x = 12 + y$
ie
$x - y = 12 - - - - (2)$
$(2) \times 4 = 4x - 4y = 48 - - - - - (3)$


$(3) - (1) = y = 48$
$x = 12 + y = 12 + 48 = 60$

Thus

Marbles with p is 60 and marbles with q is 48
