the ratio of the parallel side of a trapezium is 2:3.The distance between them is 15 cm. if the area of the trapezium is 600cm²,find the lenghts of parallel sides.​

let ratio be x

2x:3x

Area of trapezium =1/2(sum of parallel sides)h

600 =1/2(5x)15

600 =75x/2

600×2/75=x

1200/75=x x=16

one parallel side =2x=32cm

another parallel side =3x=48cm
