1. X=3y
2. (X+5)+(y+5)=58

x+y+10=58

X+y=48

3y+y=48

4y=48

y=12

X=3y

x=3*12

x=36

Let the age of father be 3x & son be x

Now,The sum of their ages after 5 yr...

=》(3x+5) +(x+5) =58

=》4x+10 =58

=》4x =48

=》x =12

Now,3x =3×12 =36

And, x =1 ×12 =12

Therefore,Age of father after 5 yrs will be 36 yrs & the age of son after 5 yrs will be 12 yrs.
