The ratio is 3:5.

Let us assume the age of brothers be 10,20(for ratio 1:2)

5 years back, their ages would be 5,15(ratio 1:3)

Since the ratio given complies with our value our assumption is correct.

Now,the age of brothers after 5 years will be 15,25.

i.e., ratio=3:5.

Present ages be a/b = 1/2 = 2a=b

5 yrs before their ages were 1/3

=>> a-5/b-5 = 1/3

=>> 3(a-5) = b-5

=>> 3a-15 = 2a -5

=>> a = 10

2a= b

=>> 2×10=b

=>> b = 20

Therefore ratio of their ages after 5yrs be 15/25=3/5
