After five years
- The age of Albert = ( 5x + 5) years
- And the age of Salim = ( 9x + 5) years
According to the condition
Five years hence ratio of their ages will be 2 : 5
cross multiplication
Hence,
The percentage of Albert age = 5x = 5 × 2 = 10 years
And percentage of Salim = 9x = 9× 2 = 18 years
Therefore,
The percentage of Albert and Salim present age be 10 years and 18 years
