Rahim:Sakshi = 5:8

Five years ago Rahim age = 20

Let the common multiple be x

5x = Rahim , 8x = Sakshi

5x - 5 (five years ago) = 20

5x = 25

x = 25/5 = 5

Hence Present age of Sakshi = 8x = 40

Answer:

age of Rahim 5x

age of shakshi 8x

20 years before Rahim = 5x - 20

= x = 20 ÷ 5

x= 4

age of shakshi 8 x 4 = 32
