Answer:

Rahul's age will be 10 years.

Sameer's age will be 15 years.

Step-by-step explanation:

Rahul's present age = 2

Sameer's present age = 3

Let Rahul's age be 2x

and Sameer's age be 3x

2x + 5 = 3/ 3x + 5 = 4

After cross-multiplication,we get

(8x + 20) = (9x + 15)

20 - 15 = 9x - 8x

5 = x.

Rahul's age will be 2x = 2×5 = 10 years

Sameer's age will be 3x = 3×5 = 15 years.

Hope it helps you !!!
