To Find :-

  • find the ratio of their circumference ?

Solution :-

let the radii of two circles are 2x and 3x

and we know that,

  \boxed{\bold{circumference \: of \: circle = 2\pi  r}}

let C and c are circumference of two circles

 \bold{:  \implies  \frac{C}{c}  =  \frac{ \cancel{2\pi} \times 2x}{ \cancel{2\pi} \times 3x} } \\  \\  \bold{: \implies\frac{C}{c}  =  \frac{2 \cancel{x}}{3 \cancel{x}}  } \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \\  \\  \bold{:  \implies \frac{C}{c}  =  \frac{2}{3} } \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \\  \\  \bold{:  \implies C :c = 2  : 3  } \:  \:

hence, ratio of their circumference is 2:3
