r : R = 2:3 ---( 1 )


Heights of two cones = h


v , V are volumes of two cones


v/V = [ (1/3)πr²h ]/[(1/3)πR²h]


After cancellation , we get


v/V = ( r/R )²


= ( 2/3 )²


= 4/9


= 4 : 9
