ratio of radius of 2 circles is   2:3

now let the radius be 2x and 3x

ratio of their areas = area of first circle/area of second circle

= πr²/πR²

=r²/R²

=(2x)²/(3x)²

=4x²/9x²

=4/9

∴ratio of their areas = 4:9

hope it helps u
