Given the ratio of their heights = 5:3, Let the height of first cylinder (h1) = 5h and height of 2nd cylinder ( h2) = 3h. volume of the cylinder= πr^2 h. Now the ratio of their volumes will be=π(r1)^2(h1)/π(r2)^2(h2)

= (r1)^2 (h1) / (r2)^2 (h2) = (2r)^2( 5h) / (3r)^2( 3h) = 4r^2(5h) / 9r^2(3h) = 20r^2h/ 27r^2h= 20/27. Hence the ratio of their volumes = 20/27. Hope this helps you.
