180/3 = 60

therefore 1 hour = 60 km distance

60*4 = 240

the second bike will cover 240 km in 4 hours

Answer:

180 km

Let two bikes be a,b respectively.

a : b = 4: 3

a/b = 4/3

Speed of bike a =Distance/time

= 180/3 = 60 km/h¹

Now,Speed of bike a :Speed of bike b

Speed of bike b = Distance/Time

Let Distance be x km

So,speed= x/4 km/h

4/3 = 60/x/4

4/3 = 240/x

4x = 240 × 3

x = 240 × 3/4

x = 180 km
