Let, the speed = 2x and 3x

Speed of second vehicle in 1 hour = 72/2 = 36km
It means the speed of second vehicle=36km/hr
Now, according to the question :
3x = 36
=> x = 12
Speed of first vehicle = 2x = 2×12 = 24 km/he
So, the speed of first vehicle will be 24km/hr
