The ratio of the supplementary angle and the complementary angle of an angle is 8 : 3 find the angle.

supplementary angles are those which have sum of angles equal to 180° and complementary angles are those which have sum of angles equal to 90°.....so according to question
let angles be x...
therefore complement and supplementary angles will be= 90-x and 180-x respectively...
so 180-x/90-x=8/3(given ratio)
on solving the given ratio we will have value of x= 36°so complementary angle will be 90-36=54° and supplementary angle will be 180-36=146°.....as the answee
