let
sides of 1st cube = x
sides of 2nd cube = y
then,
area of first cube = x^2
area of 2nd cube = y^2
volume of 1st cube = x^3
volume of 2nd cube = y^3
according to question,
(x^2 / y^2) = 16/25

taking root of both side
x/y = 4/5
also,
( x^3/y^3 ) = (x/y)^3 = (4/5)^3 = 64/125

hence,
the ratio of edges = x/y = 4/5
& the ratio of volume = (x^3 / y^3 ) = 64/125

I hope this will help you...
