Step-by-step explanation:

so here first we hadA:B = 3:4

which can also be written as 3x:4x

now Rahul drank 40 ml fron bottle A

so 3x-40/4x

and after drinking ratio became = 13:20, so now

3x-40/4x = 13:20

20(3x-40) = 13 (4x)

60x -800 = 52x

(60-52)x = 800

8x = 800

x = 100

so water in bottle A will be = 3x = 3×100 = 300ml
