The ratio of time taken by a cyclist to go round the outer and inner circumference of a
circular path is 22:19; if the path is 15 meters wide, let us calculate the length of diameter
of inner circle.​

Answer:

Let outer radius be R and inner radius be r

2 pi R/(2 pi r) = 22/19

R/r = 22/19

R = r +15

(r+15)/r = 22/19

19(r+15) = 22r

22r -19r=19×15

3r =19×15

r = 19×15/3 = 95

diameter = 2×95 = 190 Ans
