The ratio of tin and zine in an alloy is 3:4. In 21 gm of alloy, find the quantity of (i) tin
and (ii) zinc​

LET, tin: 3x

zinc: 4x

total quantity: 21g

THEREFORE,

3x+4x=21

7x=21

x=3

quantity of tin=3x=3*3= 9g

quantity of zinc=4x=4*3= 12g
