the ratio of two adjacent sides of a parallelogram in5:4 .it's perimeter is 18 cm then, what is the length of the adjacent sides.​

Let the length be 5x

Let the breadth be 4x

⇒  Perimeter =2(5x+4x)

⇒  8=2(9x)

⇒  4=9x

∴  x=0.44

⇒  Length =5x=5×0.44=2.2cm

⇒  Breadth 4x=4×0.44=1.8cm

∴  The length of the adjacent sides are 2.2cm and 1.8cm
