The ratio of two adjacent sides of a parellelogram is 3 : 1 and its perimeter is 72cm. What is the length of the adjacent sides?

let one of the side be of x
Therefore it's adjacent side would be 3x
Opposite sides of Parallelogram are equal
therefore
3x+x+3x+x=72
8x=72
x=9
The other side
3x=3(9)
=27
Adjacent side are 9cm and 27cm
