Answer:

let the sides be 7x and 9x

ATQ

perimeter= 96

7x+9x+7x+9x= 96

32x= 96

x= 96÷32

x= 3

therfore, sides= 7x= 21cm

= 9x = 27 cm

since opposite sides of ||gm are equal,

sides= 21 cm, 27 cm, 21 cm, 27 cm

Answer:

The sides of the parallelogram is 21 cm and 27 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that the ratio of two adjacent sides of a parallelogram is 7:9

Let the ratio be x

So, Sides are 7 x and 9 x

Perimeter of parallelogram = 2(length+Breadth)=2(7x+9x)

We are given that it perimeter is 96 cm

So, 2(7x+9x) = 962(7x+9x)=96

2(16x) = 962(16x)=96

(16x) =48(16x)=48

x=\frac{48}{16}x=

16

48

x=3

7x=7(3)=21 cm

9x=9(3)=-27 cm

Hence the sides of the parallelogram is 21 cm and 27 cm
