Ratio of two numbers = 3:8

Let common ratio = x

Then, no.s = 3x, 8x

According to the question :-

8x-3x = 115

5x = 115

x = 115÷5

x = 23

Largest number = 8×23

= 184

Answer:

184

Step-by-step explanation:

let the ratios be x

Now the ratios are 3x and 8x

According to the question

8x-3x=115

Or, 5x = 115

Or, x = 115/5

x==23

Largest number is 8x

where 8x=8×23

=184
