Let,
The numbers be 11x and 9x.
Greater number = 11x
Smaller number = 9x
According to question
11x = 9x + 8
11x - 9x = 8
2x = 8
x = 4
Greater number = 11x = 11 ( 4 ) = 44
Smaller number = 9x = 9 ( 4 ) = 36
