Let the numbers be 2 x and 3 x
Sum of numbers = 100
⇒2 x + 3 x = 100
⇒5 x = 100
⇒x = 20
There fore the numbers are 2(20) = 40 , 3(20) = 60

there sum=100
so equation = 2x+3x=100
5x=100
x=100/5 = 20
x=20
2×20= 40 and
3×20=60
so the numbers r 40 and 60
