To solve : In a ratio way?

Solution :

Let the number 3a and 4a and a is natural.

H.C.F of 3a and 4a is always a. ...... 1

H.C.F × L.C.M = 3a\times 4a ...... 2

Given :

H.C.F is 4 ...... 3

We can observe from 1 and 3, therefore a=4.

If we use 2 and 3, we can lead : L.C.M is 3a^2 ...... 4

Therefore, L.C.M is 48.

Answer:

48

Step-by-step explanation:

x*y = LCM*HCF

3a*4a = LCM*4

LCM = 12a^{2} / 4 = 3a^{2}

=> 3a*4a = 3a^{2}

=> 12a = 3a^{2}

=> a = 4

=> 3a^{2}

=> 3(4^{2})

=> 3*16

=> 48
