The ratio of two numbers is 3:4 and their sum is 420.The greater of the tworatio = 3:4

⟹ let take the ratio be in x

the sum is 420

4x = 420

⟹ 7x = 420

x = 60

⟹ Greater number is 4x = 4(60)

=240
