the ratio of two sides of a 11gm is 2:3.If its perimeter is 70cm,find the lengths of the sides of 11gm

e., like rectangle

2x+2x+3x+3x=70
10x=70
x=7

sides =2x=2×7=14
=3x=3×7=21


sides=14,14,21,21

Hey!

Let sides of ||gm be 2x and 3x respectively.

We know,
Perimeter of ||gm = 2(a + b)
                       70  = 2 (2x+3x)
                       70   = 10x
                         x   = 7

Hence, side 1 = 7*2 = 14 cm
             side 2 = 7*3 = 21 cm
